To blog or not to blog–that is the question that has been bugging me for a month. It felt good not to do it. Now I think I’ll dip my toe back in, but only a little bit. My cat is making love to my left hand, which inhibits typing. She wants something. Now she is lying on the desk, so perhaps I can finish the thought.
I don’t want blogging to feel like a “have to” as it did before. I want the entries to be short and frequent. That’s the way I’ll start.
Here’s a picture of Jim on July 23 showing our house sitter, Char Tyler, some routes around the area. Char and her cousin Rhonda drove from California in a van and stayed at our place for ten days while we took a road trip. They looked after our cats and the flowers. Rhonda is an artist and she painted every day she was here. Char was happy to regroup and relax from teaching.
My toe feels wet enough for one night. I will try again tomorrow.

A “Thumbs Up” from ol’ Fran!
I’ve missed your blogs, Maria. You are a NATURAL BORN BLOGGER!!!
Love and lots of HUGS,
Debby
Debby, thank you! Maybe you’re right. I’ll see how it goes.
Hi Maria, I am so happy to see you here. I will happily accept short, frequent over nothing at all. I love your blogs. If you need to stop anything stop FB – this blog of yours is delightful: pictures, news about what is going on in your life, your excellent writing. Hugs, Lindy
Hi Lindy, You may be right about this rather than FB! Thanks for the vote of confidence
Hang in there! Creativity ebbs and flows–you know that. Big hug
Sue
Thanks, Sue! Stepping back in the stream, one toe at a time. Want it to be enjoyable and easy.
