Today is the last day of September! Where did it go? Is time speeding up?
After our morning of glazing pottery and stacking the kiln yesterday, Jim and I went out for a late lunch. He took a nap, while I made phone calls. At dinner time, he wasn’t hungry. I was, so I ate the other half of the sandwich he brought home from Quincey’s.
I was at the computer around 6:00 pm, when the sky put on a show. First, a dappled dalmation look:
Then the virga turned orange. Rain never did reach the ground or our deck.
And finally, the eastern sky lit up like camp fire embers. Marshmallows anyone?
Some in the family would rather watch for mice.

Beautiful, Maria. Kitties do have their own agenda/priorities.
BTW – do you ever or would you ever consider making yarn bowls?
Hugs, Lindy
What is a yarn bowl??? Like a serving bowl? What is special about a yarn bowl?
Thanks for being up early to catch all the wonderful skyscapes!
Up early, yes. And these were the beautiful evening colors of last night.
